At Root 66/Beck & Root Propane, we understand firsthand that every household is different. Some use propane for heating, hot water and several appliances, while others only have gas logs and a firepit. Some may have fuel-intensive, vital products like pool heaters and standby generators. In certain months, you may use a whole tank of propane, and then you could go several months without needing a propane delivery at all. Contact us to learn more!
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to pay just for the propane you actually used like you do for natural gas or electricity?
Beck & Root Propane now offers our customers an innovative, convenient way to say goodbye to paying for whole tanks of fuel at delivery. It’s called a Metered Propane System. When you do business with us, you can expect the unexpected.
How does a metered system work? Exactly like your standard utilities like electricity, water and natural gas.
For less than a dollar a day, we will install a complete metering system similar to a natural gas connection. Once installed, you only pay for the propane you use, not what’s sitting in the tank.
Our customers love this option because:
Never! When you have a Root 66/Beck & Root metered system, we’ll keep the tank filled for you.
You don’t need to worry about tracking your propane levels.
If you’re a current Root 66/Beck & Root leased-tank customer who has been paying for deliveries,
we will issue you an account credit for the fuel in your tank when you switch to metered service.
We only lease metered propane tank systems. With that said, talk to us if you own your tank.
We can offer metered service with a tank buy-back. Plus, there are other payment and pricing
options available to customers who own their propane tanks. (See below.)
There is a nominal one-time setup fee for the system. After that, you pay a monthly leasing charge.
If you own your tank and a metered system will not fit your needs, we still offer a way to stabilize your monthly energy costs and free you from the big delivery invoices. With our no-fee Budget Pay Plan, you will always know what you are paying for. We divide your annual fuel costs into averaged, equal monthly installments (reviewed annually and adjusted).
Your needs and priorities are unique to you. Everyone should be able to budget for their home energy in a way that works for them.
Yes! I want to see if a metered propane tank system is right for my home.
